Bank J. Safra Sarasin taps managing director, client advisory
Geraldine Low Ai Ping has joined Bank J. Safra Sarasin in Singapore as managing director, client advisory. With over 20 years of financial markets experience, she will report to Eric Morin, chief executive officer, Singapore branch and Southeast Asia.

Geraldine Low Ai Ping has joined Bank J. Safra Sarasin in Singapore as managing director, client advisory. With over 20 years of financial markets experience, she will report to Eric Morin, chief executive officer, Singapore branch and Southeast Asia.
 
Low joins Bank J. Safra Sarasin from DBS Private Bank, Singapore, where she was a senior vice-president, team leader and senior client partner. She joined the wealth management industry in 2006 and has held senior positions at CIC Banque Privée, Singapore Branch and Citi Private Bank, Singapore. Low specializes in ultra high net worth and family wealth clients.
 
Earlier in her career, she was vice-president, institutional research sales covering Asian equities at DBS Vickers Ballas Securities (1995 to 2000) and ING Barings Securities (1993 to 1995). She was also on the buy side as a principal at Bioveda Capital from 2001 to 2002. Between 2000 and 2005, Low was an entrepreneur. She founded the Open Arena and was a founding partner of the business consultancy Berioza Associates.
 

She started her career in auditing at KPMG Peat Marwick after graduating from the National University of Singapore, where she was a KPMG Peat Marwick scholarship holder, with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. She also holds a master in education management from the University of Western Australia.
