Barclays named Vivian Chan as regional head of North Asia to its wealth and investment management division. She joins on August 5 2013, reporting to Didier von Daeniken, head of wealth management for Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
Chan joins Barclays from Credit Suisse, where she was managing director and market leader for Greater China. She was instrumental in building up the firm’s ultra high net worth client portfolio. An industry veteran, she brings with her over 30 years of experience and expertise in building businesses and managing ultra high net worth client relationships that require complex private and business wealth management needs.
