Eddie Leung has been appointed managing director, regional head of insurance coverage, financial institutions and public sector, Asia-Pacific, at Natixis. He reports to Daniel Yap, regional head of financial institutions and public sector coverage, Asia-Pacific.

 

Leung was previously responsible for HSBC global banking and markets, asset and liability management (ALM) solutions business in the region from 2011-2014. Prior to HSBC, he was with Credit Suisse in its fixed income ALM structuring team and earlier, at ABN AMRO’s global markets financial institutions solutions team.

 

A Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA), he has also worked in a number of insurance companies including Pacific Century Insurance, Zurich Financial Hong Kong and Swiss Reinsurance Company Hong Kong.

 

Leung holds a bachelor’s degree in economics major in actuarial studies from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
