BNP Paribas IP appoints new CEOs for HK, Japan
BNP Paribas Investment Partners named Tino Moorrees as CEO Hong Kong and Ryohei Shimazaki as CEO, representative director and president of BNP Paribas Investment Partners Japan.

BNP Paribas Investment Partners named Tino Moorrees as CEO Hong Kong and Ryohei Shimazaki as CEO, representative director and president of BNP Paribas Investment Partners Japan. Both report to Vincent Camerlynck, CEO Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong.
 
Moorrees has over 17 years of financial services experience, 15 of which were in the fund industry, most recently as CEO, representative director and president of BNP Paribas Investment Partners Japan. Prior to that, he was CEO and president director for PT. BNP Paribas Investment Partners Indonesia.
 
He was succeeded by Shimazaki. In his new position, he manages and develops the firm’s business in Japan. He has nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry and was most recently president and representative director of Baring Asset Management (Japan). He has held various senior positions with firms in Asia and Europe, including Baring Brothers and ING Baring Securities. He started his career as a fund manager at Robert Fleming Asset Management in London.
