BNP Paribas names APAC head of equity derivatives distribution
BNP Paribas has appointed Kyoya Okazawa as head of equity derivatives distribution, global equities and commodity derivatives (GECD), Asia-Pacific, in addition to his current role as head of GECD, Japan.

BNP Paribas has appointed Kyoya Okazawa as head of equity derivatives distribution, global equities and commodity derivatives (GECD), Asia-Pacific, in addition to his current role as head of GECD, Japan.
 
This newly-created role aims to streamline BNP Paribas’ business in the equity derivatives space and offer integrated services to the clients. Building upon the bank’s historical strength and leadership in the equity derivatives industry, the team provides top class trading and professional investment solutions for clients.
 
In his extended role, Okazawa, who joined the bank in 2011,  will provide leadership and direction for the equity derivatives distribution team, and will ensure that teams across the APAC region work seamlessly together to deliver the best possible solutions to meet the rising expectations from clients. He will continue to be based in Japan.
