Australian Unity Investments has appointed BNP Paribas Securities Services as its custodian and administrator.

Australian Unity Investments is the funds management arm of financial services, health and retirement living services provider Australian Unity. It has over A$7.36 billion in funds under management as of June 30 2014.

David Bryant, CEO of Australian Unity Investments, said: “After an extensive due diligence process, we determined that BNP Paribas had the strongest full service proposition in core custody together with middle and back office services for our asset management business and joint venture partners.”

“BNP Paribas was also able to demonstrate a strong leadership team with a great deal of local autonomy. We were also most attracted to BNP Paribas’ ongoing investments in technology and their commitment to supporting our expansion plans, and in turn, helping us to future proof our strategy,” Bryant added.
