BOCHK, UnionPay launch premium credit card

Bank of China (Hong Kong) (BOCHK) and UnionPay International have launched the BOC CUP Dual Currency Diamond Card, a premium credit card uniquely designed for providing affluent cardholders with unparelleled privileges and services, a company statement said.

 

Dickson So, general manager of BOC Credit Card, said, "To serve customers better, we have been striving to offer customized products and professional services that suit the needs of different customer segments. UnionPay International has also been dedicated to enriching its products suite, expanding its acceptance network and promoting its usage, offering cardholders payment convenience globally. Capitalizing on the strengths and synergy arising from this partnership, we come to today's launch of this premium Dual Currency Diamond Card. Looking forward, we will further strengthen our collaboration in providing innovative products and enhanced services to our customers."

 

In addition to its basic card type, the BOC CUP Dual Currency Diamond Card will issue a limited edition metallic card with a special design - the first of its kind ever introduced in Hong Kong. The BOC CUP Dual Currency Diamond Card will be officially launched in January 2015. Card membership will be by invitation only with a first-year annual fee waiver.

 

During the promotional period, cardholders of BOC CUP Dual Currency Diamond Card can earn up to 3X reward gift points on their spending. Upon accumulation of monthly spending of HK$15,000 or above, cardholders will earn extra 2X reward gift points with no ceiling applied.

 

In addition, cardholders can enjoy a special rate of HK$250 per trip for airport limousine service to and from Hong Kong International Airport, as well as an exclusive airport limousine service to and from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport. This service is particularly well suited for high-end cross-border customers.

 

Other privileges include private concierge, international medical assistance, health care service in the China and international travel assistance.
