Citi has set up a new regional structure for its treasury and trade solutions (TTS) sales team to better serve its clients in Asia-Pacific.

 

Reporting to Munir Nanji, Asia-Pacific head of sales for the treasury and trade solutions business, the new regional structure aligns roles and responsibilities more effectively to efficiently serve clients, Citi said in a statement.

 

Citi said that Manash Dasgupta will transition from his current role as sector sales head for the technology, media and telecommunications, consumer and healthcare sectors, to lead a newly-formed TTS regional product sales vertical.

 

The new team will focus on supporting and collaborating with the TTS solutions sales team to drive complex, multi-country working capital solutions across the region and provide support to large in-country deals. Dasgupta’s team will also cover commercial card sales, the bank said.

 

To enhance the TTS sales team, Citi appointed sector heads for specific industries. Sector specialization is unique to Citi’s organization construct, and core to its client-centric strategy, it said.

 

Jason Batman will continue  to lead the industrials, energy, power and chemicals sectors. Citi named Damian Macinante to lead the public sector and non-bank financial institutions sector. It also named Nick Howden as technology, media, telecommunications sector head and Rohit Jamwal as consumer/healthcare sector head.

 

Sub-sector sales heads were appointed within the industrials sector to drive deeper sector solutions specialization, the bank said. It named Aman Chadha as sub sector head for transportation and Tim Waggett as sub sector head for energy.
