BNY Mellon gets wealth director for business development in HK
BNY Mellon Wealth Management has hired Vivian Chan as wealth director of business development in Hong Kong. In her new role, she will provide comprehensive discretionary investment and wealth management services to high net worth individuals and families.

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has hired Vivian Chan as wealth director of business development in Hong Kong. In her new role, she will provide comprehensive discretionary investment and wealth management services to high net worth individuals and families. Chan reports to Chuck Long, head of Greater China for BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
 
Chan comes to BNY Mellon from Oppenheimer & Co. in Newport Beach, California, where she was a director of investments responsible for creating customized financial strategies and solutions for high net worth families. Her practice also focused on serving female executives and women in transition from divorce or widowhood. She has 20 years of financial services experience, half of which focused on providing strategic wealth management/private banking services to high net worth clients.
 
Chan earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from California State University in Fullerton. She is a chartered retirement planning counselor and is currently pursuing certification to become a certified financial planner.
