The Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) and its wholly owned subsidiary Labuan IBFC Inc (LIBFC Inc) have launched their joint website, www.labuanibfc.com which acts as a one-stop source of information on structures and solutions available in Labuan IBFC, including all statutory provisions and guidelines governing the jurisdiction.
Notable features of the website include an enhanced search functionality facilitating faster access to pertinent information. For example, a specific keyword search can either be done universally, or may be restricted within the Legislation & Guidelines section if so wished.
The website will act as a collective body of knowledge through its rich repository of Labuan legislation, guidelines and frequently asked questions, which previously resided in Labuan FSA and LIBFC Inc’s websites separately.
Towards this aim, a new Resource Centre has been incorporated, which offers multimedia-friendly content and promotes thought leadership in the form of articles, interviews, opinion pieces and presentation videos. Selected content is also available in simplified Mandarin for the benefit of international visitors.
Meanwhile under the events section, a fully integrated online event registration and payment gateway system has been incorporated. It is hoped that this combined website will provide a more interactive and user-friendly experience.
