Manulife AM names CIO, fixed income, Asia (ex-Japan)
Endre Pedersen, senior managing director, Asian fixed income with Manulife Asset Management, has been named chief investment officer, fixed income, Asia (ex-Japan). He will lead the company’s local-market Asia ex-Japan fixed income teams and will maintain his role as manager of the Asia total return bond strategy.

Endre Pedersen, senior managing director, Asian fixed income with Manulife Asset Management, has been named chief investment officer, fixed income, Asia (ex-Japan).

 

He will lead the company's local-market Asia ex-Japan fixed income teams and will maintain his role as manager of the Asia total return bond strategy.

 

Manulife Asset Management has 60 fixed income investment professionals working on the ground across 10 Asian markets with US$45 billion in assets under management.

 

Pedersen has over 15 years of fixed income investment experience. This includes managing regional and global funds with active currency overlay and significant allocations to Asian sovereign and corporate debt. During his six years with Manulife Asset Management, he and his team have developed a series of pan-Asian bond solutions, including the Asia Total Return bond strategy.
