The Asset board of editors has conferred to KS Chan, group treasurer of Hutchison Whampoa, The Asset Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to the development of capital markets in Asia.

Chan, who has been the brain behind the group's numerous industry-setting transactions over the years, will be presented with the award during the 16th annual The Asset Triple A Regional House and Deal Awards to be held on February 5 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong.

For more than a decade, Hutchison Whampoa has executed transactions that are a blend of the right structure at the right time and at near pitch-perfect pricing, earning the reputation of being one of the most prolific and stand-out issuers in Asian capital markets.
