BlackRock gets managing director in Asian equities team
BlackRock, Inc. has named Christopher Hall as managing director in the Asia fundamental equities team effective immediately. Reporting to Andrew Swan, head of Asian equities, he joins as a senior portfolio manager with research responsibilities across the Asia-Pacific region

BlackRock, Inc. has named Christopher Hall as managing director in the Asia fundamental equities team effective immediately.  Reporting to Andrew Swan, head of Asian equities, he joins as a senior portfolio manager with research responsibilities across the Asia-Pacific region. Subject to regulatory approvals, he will assume management of portfolios later in the year.
 

Hall joins from Argo Investments where he was senior investment officer since 2010, responsible for co-management of the firm’s A$5 billion listed investment fund and had overall responsibility for the investment process, stock analysis and all other aspects related to the investment process. He has 25 years of involvement in the Australian finance industry and has extensive experience in equity research and portfolio management, with a proven track record of outperforming benchmark returns.
