Monument Group expands Hong Kong team
Alternative investment fund placement agent Monument Group has named Niklas Amundsson as a managing director in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Prior to joining Monument Group, he spent seven years at MVision, most recently as a partner in the Hong Kong office.

Alternative investment fund placement agent Monument Group has named Niklas Amundsson as a managing director in the firm's Hong Kong office.

 

Prior to joining Monument Group, he spent seven years at MVision, most recently as a partner in the Hong Kong office. In this role, he focused on general partner clients in Asia and the alternative assets investor population in the Asia-Pacific region.

 

Prior to that, Amundsson worked at Almeida Capital in London, where he was responsible for the firm's private equity fundraising and at Credit Suisse First Boston in London and Frankfurt on the equity sales desk, raising capital for structured products as well as selling equities to Nordic and German-speaking institutional clients. Previously he conducted equity research at ABN AMRO Bank in Frankfurt, Germany.

 

He holds a bachelor's degree in financial services from the University of Portsmouth.
