White & Case appoints head of Asia
Global law firm White & Case’spartner Eric Berg has been appointed as head of Asia, effective immediately. In this role, he will concentrate on working closely with clients, partners and staff to continue to grow the firm’s business across Asia.

Global law firm White & Case’s partner Eric Berg has been appointed as head of Asia, effective immediately. In this role, he will concentrate on working closely with clients, partners and staff to continue to grow the firm’s business across Asia.
 
He will be travelling throughout Asia, spending most of his time in Singapore and Hong Kong, and will retain his role as global banking practice leader in addition to his new responsibilities. He has been a partner at the firm since 1987 and is a member of its global clients council and strategic growth council.

His excitement about Asia is contagious and we look forward to what he and the team will accomplish on the ground in the months and years ahead.”
 
Berg will work closely with Barrye Wall, who is based in Singapore and will continue to oversee the firm’s operations in Asia as he has done since 2008.
 
With a presence in Asia since 1978, White & Case has offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo.
