China Renaissance appoints new M&A managing director
China Renaissance Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd appoints Jeremy Choy as managing director and co-head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A)

China Renaissance Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd appoints Jeremy Choy as managing director and co-head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
  
In his role, Choy will lead China Renaissance’s M&A practice alongside Lixing Wang, who has been part of the firm’s team since 2006. Together, Choy and Wang will be responsible for driving the growth and strategic direction of China Renaissance’s M&A practice as transactions increase among technology, media and telecom (TMT) companies.
 
Both will report directly to Fan Bao, chairman and chief executive officer of China Renaissance. 
 
Choy, who will be based in Hong Kong, brings considerable experience in investment banking that he has acquired in various positions across the globe. Choy joins China Renaissance after four years as a senior member at J.P. Morgan North Asia M&A team. Previously he was a banker at Goldman Sachs with experience working in its offices in the US, the UK and Hong Kong.
