Richard Kao, joins Credit Suisse as a senior hire in the bank’s Greater China corporate finance team. Kao re-joins Credit Suisse from Standard Chartered, where he was most recently a managing director, head of the solutions team for Greater China, sources said. Prior to Standard Chartered, Kao worked in the investment banking divisions at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.
Alain Lam, head of technology, Asia, joins Credit Suisse from Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently a managing director in the bank’s global capital markets group in Hong Kong. Alain has 18 years of global capital markets experience and has covered some of the most prominent technology companies in the region.
Both Kao and Lam will be based in Hong Kong. Credit Suisse declined to comment.
