Bordeaux wine transported to Wuhan by rail
Wuhan Asia-Europe Logistics has shortened the delivery time of French wine bound for China to only 16 days from 35 days.

Wuhan Asia-Europe Logistics (WAE) has shortened the delivery time of French wine bound for China to only 16 days, with the delivery of 14,000 bottles of Bordeaux sent direct from Lyon to Wuhan.
The sea journey from French ports to Shanghai currently takes around 35 days. The service between Lyon and Wuhan, Hubei Province, runs through Russia, and crosses into China at Alashankou.
The direct freight service between Lyon and Wuhan was inaugurated in April of this year.
