Rothschild hires former Temasek exec for Southeast Asia
Henry Ho (Ho Hon Cheong) will join Rothschild as non-executive chairman for Southeast Asia with effect from today.

Henry Ho (Ho Hon Cheong) will join Rothschild as non-executive chairman for Southeast Asia with effect from today.
 
Ho will be based in Rothschild’s Singapore office and will work closely with the Global Financial Advisory and Wealth Management and Trust teams across Southeast Asia to continue the development of Rothschild’s businesses in the region.
 
Ho has extensive financial experience across the region, and has a close relationship with Temasek, having acted as one of their managing directors from 2009-2010 and as CEO of one of their investee companies, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia 2010-2015.
 
Ho previously worked for Citibank and during his tenure with them, held various senior roles for Citibank in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.  He has also held senior roles at PT Bank International Indonesia (2004-2009) and at Saudi American Bank in Saudi Arabia.
