Deutsche Bank appoints new head for China corporate banking
Deutsche Bank has appointed industry veteran Frank Fang as head of corporate banking coverage for China.

Deutsche Bank has appointed industry veteran Frank Fang as head of corporate banking coverage for China. 

Fang will lead the onshore and offshore China corporate banking coverage team, and will drive a client-centric coverage model across the bank's LLC and MNC client base. He will also have oversight of all onshore branches in China, and his responsibilities will include leading strategy and providing direction with respect to client coverage, as well as overseeing branch requirements.

He will report regionally to Oliver Brinkmann, head of corporate finance North Asia, and Sanjiv Vohra, head of Asia Pacific corporate banking coverage. In China, he will report to Feng Gao, chief country officer of Deutsche Bank China.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Fang spent 25 years in a variety of product and client coverage roles at HSBC, most recently serving as head of corporate banking, China. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing HSBC's commercial banking business across large and middle market corporates as well as MNC's.

Fang will be based in Shanghai, and will join the bank in late June.
