What will the next 20 years be like?

These places’ good fortune will come as the Feng Shui ninth period approaches. The Chinese believe that everything in this universe changes and luck comes in cycles. Feng shui’s time dimension follows a 180-year cycle that restarted in 1864. The cycle will reset 24 years from now in 2043.

The next 20 years will cover the last five years of the so-called Feng Shui eighth period (2004-2023) before it enters the ninth period (2024-2043) or the last age of the full cycle.

Red would be the lucky colour in the ninth age. I expect that if the major colour of a country’s national flag is red, like China’s, it will likely experience prosperity.

I expect artificial intelligence (AI) technology to be a big part of our daily lives and that the electric car will replace the petrol car. Banks will use AI for normal procedures of daily transactions. Fintech will become more advanced.

Traditional occupations like accountant and doctor will become less attractive than technology-based jobs. People will watch the daily news on their electronic devices such as smartphones or iPads instead of reading newspapers. Print media will be replaced by electronic media.

For investment, you should select technology companies. If you are investing in property, whether the house is facing south or facing north, if you can see a body of water from your front door like the sea or a lake, then that should be a good investment.

However the ninth age also means people will face serious issues in their family relationships. Many parents and children will not get along well with each other. Children will tend to believe what they see on their smartphones instead of listening to what their parents say. Family relationships will become more solitary. There will be more divorces. To preserve harmony in the family, get more plants to enhance the chi in your home, or get more white and grey items to balance the chi.

During the ninth age, middle-aged women will dominate the senior posts in the government and banking sectors. Men will be more involved in sales and research work.
The ninth age promises to be a time of great change and progress.
