Blackpeak Group launches Asian network

Blackpeak Group, a new company providing risk and financial advice to corporate and institutional clients seeking to deploy capital in Asia, has officially launched its offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo.

 

Blackpeak was founded by corporate advisory, investment and risk consulting professionals with over 60 years’ experience in Asia, including the former heads of HSBC Investment Banking and of Kroll Associates in Asia-Pacific.

 

The new firm advises clients seeking to invest in or from Asia by providing strategic advice across the investment cycle. By combining high quality corporate advisory, investment sourcing, risk mitigation and transaction execution advice, Blackpeak helps clients make intelligent capital decisions. It also invests in selected transactions alongside its clients.

 

Blackpeak clients include financial investors, including global and regional private equity, hedge, alternative asset, family office and sovereign wealth funds; corporations, such as multinational corporations, regional conglomerates and single sector companies; It also advises professional intermediaries, including legal and financial firms, proprietary trading desks and in-house funds.

 

Blackpeak has closed an initial round of funding with capital raised from its founders and from institutional and private investors, including Asian-based hedge fund, Vulpes Investment Management. Capital raised will be applied to fund strategic expansion and selected co-investment opportunities.
