Fidelity bolsters Asia-Pacific sustainability team
Paul Milon, Tina Chang bring significant amount of ESG insight, stewardship experience
The Asset 8 Sep 2022

Fidelity International has added to its Asia-Pacific sustainable investing team with the appointment of Paul Milon as the team’s director and Tina Chang as its associate director.

Both Milon and Chang will be based in Hong Kong and will work closely with Fidelity’s investment team to help further embed sustainability considerations into the firm’s investment process.

Milon will contribute to the development of the company’s sustainable investment policies, frameworks and product offerings, and will closely partner with the investment management team to deepen sustainability integration within the investment process.

He brings extensive experience in environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy and a proven track record of engaging with policymakers to promote a sustainable financial ecosystem, as well as extensive knowledge of the Asia-Pacific region. Milon joined Fidelity in August from BNP Paribas Asset Management, where he was most recently head of stewardship for Asia-Pacific. He reports to Gabriel Wilson-Otto, head of sustainable investing strategy.

Chang will play a key role in partnering with Fidelity’s extensive research function to further embed the firm’s sustainability ratings and will also support engagement and voting activities with investee companies across Asia.

She will join Fidelity in mid-September from BlackRock, where she was vice-president, Greater China stewardship, and will report to Flora Wang, head of stewardship, Asia.

Jenn-Hui Tan, global head of stewardship and sustainable investing, at Fidelity, says: “Milon and Chang will each bring a significant amount of insight and experience to help support and deliver on our commitments to a sustainable future.”
