He joins from Amundi, where he was the head of fixed income and currencies, responsible for the firm’s assets in Asia Pacific. Previously he has managed fixed income with companies including DBS Asset Management, OCBC, the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Standard Chartered.

 

In this role, Chia will have responsibility for leading ING IM’s Asian fixed income team, and also for contributing to ING IM’s global emerging market debt team, working in collaboration with colleagues in New York, Atlanta and The Hague.
