The Asset 13 May 2020

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) announced May 13 the appointment of Rory Caines as exchange traded fund (ETF) specialist to the firm’s Asia ETF team.

Based in Hong Kong, Caines reports to Sean Cunningham, head of Asia ETFs, JPMAM. He will work with the team to advance the firm’s ETF product strategy in APAC, as well as to build and strengthen ETF client relationships in the region.

Caines joined in late April after 6 years with Blackrock’s iShares, most recently as vice president, capital markets and fixed income ETF, where he was responsible for helping clients understand and take advantage of ETF liquidity, as well as managing strategic relationships with banks and broker / dealer partners.

JPMAM’s global ETF suite features more than 58 product offerings (34 listed in the US, 24 listed in Europe) with over US$28 billion in assets under management as of May 8.

JPMAM has assets under management of US$1.9 trillion as of March 31.
