Capco appoints Southeast Asia head
Steve Halliwell to focus on growing business and supporting clients in Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia
The Asset 7 Oct 2021

Capco, a global technology and management consultancy, has appointed Steve Halliwell as head of Southeast Asia, with responsibility for growing the business and supporting its clients across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.

A Capco partner since 2013, Halliwell has transferred to Singapore from the company’s New York office. Prior to joining Capco, he spent 14 years working in senior roles within financial services in the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom, with responsibilities that included major design, construction and implementation of initiatives across the front office, operations and technology.

Commenting on Halliwell’s appointment, APAC managing partner James Arnett says: “Steve brings over 20 years’ of experience at the leading edge of financial services change programmes, working in close partnership with a range of global banks. With our deep domain knowledge, Capco is strongly positioned to support financial institutions across the Asia-Pacific region in reengineering their businesses to better navigate today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities. With his new responsibility for three of the region’s most dynamic markets, Steve will be instrumental in delivering on that ambition.”
