Amundi names two to support South Asia growth
Dennis Ng and Marcus Liew have significant banking experience and expertise in region

European asset manager Amundi has appointed Dennis Ng as head of distribution sales, Singapore, and Marcus Liew as multi-asset solutions portfolio manager to support the firm’s growth in South Asia.

Dennis Ng has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry across different markets in Asia. Ng was most recently an executive director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, having joined the Singapore fund sales team in 2015.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Ng was a senior investment adviser for offshore markets at Standard Chartered Bank, responsible for various Asian teams, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, India and Thailand. He has covered the onshore and offshore teams as a treasury specialist since 2010. He began his career with DBS and subsequently Citibank focusing on wealth management and financial planning with high-net-worth clients.

Marcus Liew, who joined Amundi Singapore in August 2021, is responsible for portfolio management, research, analysis and implementation of multi-asset solutions. Prior to Amundi, Marcus was a multi-asset portfolio manager at First Sentier Investors, where he had worked for almost eight years with a focus on quantitative cross-asset and global tactical asset allocation strategies.
