Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has appointed Farazia Basarah as Indonesia country head. She will succeed James Allan, who was recently named chief executive officer for JLL Middle East and Africa and has relocated to Dubai.
In her new role, Farazia will be responsible for all of JLL’s operations in Indonesia, with oversight for the markets advisory and capital markets business lines.
She has been with JLL over the past 12 years, playing a key role in growing the logistics, industrial, and data centre businesses in Indonesia, both in a leadership capacity and her involvement in numerous high-profile capital markets and leasing transactions.
Farazia has more than a decade of experience in the real estate industry. She has successfully managed the negotiation and delivery of numerous logistics and industrial property transactions, such as land acquisition, disposal assets, build-to-suit models, sale and leaseback schemes in Indonesia, as well as large portfolio transactions.
