BNY Mellon has appointed Nelius De Groot as head of markets and execution services for Asia-Pacific, effective immediately. Based in Singapore, De Groot will lead the growth strategy and direction of the bank’s markets and execution services business in the region.

De Groot has more than 30 years of experience in capital markets and transaction banking, previously holding senior leadership roles with Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank and other major global institutions in London, New York and Singapore. He has deep expertise across trading, client coverage, business development, technology and operations.
