BOC Aviation buys 80 new Airbus A320neos
BOC Aviation has entered into an agreement with Airbus to purchase 80 new Airbus A320neo family aircraft. All aircraft are scheduled for delivery between 2027 and 2029. The deal is the largest single order that BOC Aviation has ever placed, bringing its total Airbus aircraft purchases since inception to 546.

Shizen Energy to develop 17 solar farms in Brazil
Shizen Energy, a renewable energy company based in Fukuoka, Japan, has signed an agreement to develop 17 solar farms in Brazil. The facilities with a total capacity of 33.4 megawatt peak (MWp) are expected to be completed this year.

JBIC, Citi and Mizuho to finance purchase of 12 container ships
Mizuho Bank, Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and Citibank Tokyo Branch have signed loans to finance the purchase by Wan Hai Lines (Singapore) of twelve 3,013 TEU container vessels to be built by Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU) and Nihon Shipyard (NSY). The commercial banks’ loan portion will be covered by insurance from Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI).
