FULLERTON Fund Management has appointed Jenny Sofian as the firm’s chief executive officer, effective November 1 2017. As CEO, Sofian will lead the development and implementation of Fullerton’s overall business strategy.

She will focus on expanding Fullerton’s third-party business, to ensure the delivery of distinctive investment solutions and superior service quality to clients. Jenny will also work closely with Fullerton’s investment team to ensure continuity of its strong investment performance.

Sofian is an accomplished executive, with over two decades of deep and extensive experience across Asia. Over the course of her career, she has held various investment and business leadership roles, which included senior portfolio management and research responsibilities. She also has an established track record in developing and growing institutional and retail businesses in the region.

Sofian joins Fullerton from Amundi Singapore, where she was most recently CEO and Hhad of South Asia since November 2009, responsible for their Southeast Asian and Australian operations. She also served as regional director of Southeast Asia at the group level.

Ho Tian Yee, chairman of the board, who is also Fullerton’s interim CEO, will work closely with Sofian to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.
