Citi names co-heads of global payments and receivables
Amit Agarwal, Debopama Sen both bank and treasury and trade solution veterans

Citi has appointed Amit Agarwal and Debopama Sen as the new co-heads of payments and receivables, treasury and trade solutions (TTS), responsible for managing the profit and loss statement, business strategy and risk, product development, talent, innovation as well as the bank's transformation agenda.

Agarwal and Sen are both veterans of Citi and TTS, and have served in various roles across the TTS franchise in their time at Citi.

Agarwal has served as the global business head of cross-border payments leading global business management for Citi's cross-border payments franchise. In this role since 2017, he has driven overall business vision and strategy, and developed new innovative payment solutions for institutional clients, including companies, financial institutions, governments, fintechs, payment intermediaries and marketplaces.

Most recently, Sen served as the head of TTS, Asean and Singapore, leading the TTS business directly for Singapore and additionally for the Asean cluster of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines. She developed and executed a transformational strategy and managed risk across all six countries by building, developing and leading senior teams in partnership with chief compliance officers, and banking and functional partners. Prior to this, she ran the TTS India franchise, which includes Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
