Unigestion appoints Robert Kosowski as head of quantitative research
Kosowski joined on May 3 and is based in London, reporting to Alexei Jourovski. In this new role, he will be responsible for spearheading quantitative research and thought leadership.

Unigestion has appointed Robert Kosowski to join the equities team as head of quantitative research. Kosowski joined on May 3 and is based in London, reporting to Alexei Jourovski. In this new role, he will be responsible for spearheading quantitative research and thought leadership.

Kosowski joins Unigestion while maintaining his role at Imperial College Business School, where he is associate professor of finance. He brings over 20 years’ experience in quantitative research. Kosowski is also a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and an associate member of the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance at Oxford University. Kosowski is on the editorial board of the Journal of Alternative Investments and a member of AIMA's research committee.

Kosowski has consulted for sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, investment banks, family offices and private banks on topics including asset allocation, alpha strategies, risk-management, funds of hedge funds and portfolio construction. Kosowski has previously worked for Goldman Sachs, the Boston Consulting Group and Deutsche Bank.
