An active Islamic finance issuer, Malaysia-based Cagamas wanted to push the bar when it came to their shariah-compliant fundraising activities in 2020. Working with multiple partners, Cagamas was able to successfully issue its debut 3-Year Asean sustainability SRI sukuk worth 100 million Malaysian ringgit late last year.

Cagamas 100-milliion-ringgit sustainability SRI commodity murabaha sukuk wins Best Asean Sustainability SRI Sukuk – Quasi Sovereign in the Best in Sustainable Finance category and Best Asean Sustainability SRI Sukuk – Quasi Sovereign, Malaysia at The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2021.
