LaSalle hires head of funds management for Australia
LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Chris Forbes as head of funds management for Australia. Based in Sydney, he will help drive the LaSalle Australia Core Plus Fund (LACPF) and the LaSalle Australia Club Investments Trust (LACIT) with a focus on strategic oversight to drive fund performance.

LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Chris Forbes as head of funds management for Australia.

 

Based in Sydney, he will help drive the LaSalle Australia Core Plus Fund (LACPF) and the LaSalle Australia Club Investments Trust (LACIT) with a focus on strategic oversight to drive fund performance.

 

Australia represents a key strategic priority for LaSalle in the Asia-Pacific region with an on the ground capability to provide investment strategies across the risk spectrum from core to opportunistic. With offices in Sydney and Brisbane, LaSalle's team of 30 people in Australia provides a full service model with a wide spectrum of capabilities, including acquisitions, fund management, asset management, development, property management and research.

 

Forbes joins LaSalle from Charter Hall where he worked for nine years in the Asia-Pacific market successfully leading an A$2 billion Core Plus Fund.
