Mercer, a unit of insurance brokerage firm Marsh & McLennan Co, has named Chua Boon Lee as principal, ASEAN Investment Consulting.

Based in Singapore, Chua will lead project teams across ASEAN and fulfill the role of key relationship manager to Mercer clients in the region. He will report to Soon Kian Lee, Asean business leader.

The new hire comes amid increasing demand for the company's institutional and wealth management advisory services. Chua joins Mercer from Singapore's Central Provident Fund, where his team was responsible for managing the financial reserves of the organization.
