Pictet appoints new CEO for Asia
The Pictet Group has appointed Dominique Jooris as the new CEO of Bank Pictet & Cie (Asia) Ltd, the Pictet Group’s private banking entity in Singapore, effective from 11 July 2016.

The Pictet Group has appointed Dominique Jooris as the new CEO of Bank Pictet & Cie (Asia) Ltd, the Pictet Group’s private banking entity in Singapore, effective from 11 July 2016.
In addition to his regulatory functions as CEO of Bank Pictet & Cie (Asia) Ltd, Jooris, as CEO of Pictet Wealth Management South Asia, will lead the business development of PWM in South and South East Asia. He will report to Claude Haberer, CEO of Pictet Wealth Management Asia.
Jooris joins Pictet from Goldman Sachs, where he held several prominent positions since 2005, most recently as managing director with responsibility for credit capital markets for Asia, working out of Hong Kong.
He has more than twenty years’ banking experience, including ten in Asia. During the more recent period he looked after clients across the region, developing solutions for their financing and tax-related needs at a corporate level and gaining in-depth experience of family-run businesses. He began his career at JP Morgan with the M&A Group. Jooris holds a degree in Engineering from the Solvay Business School, Brussels.
Bank Pictet & Cie (Asia) Ltd has been operating in Singapore since 1995, securing a merchant bank licence in 2004. Across the region, Pictet Wealth Management has developed rapidly over the last years, with more than 110 staff employed in Singapore and 90 in Hong Kong, where it has been present since 1986 and was awarded a banking licence in 2012.
