Principal Global Investors (Hong Kong) has appointed Lesley Lo as managing director, head of institutional sales, North Asia, with the goal of driving strategic client efforts and positioning the firm’s suite of investment capabilities in the region. 

Lo comes to Principal from MetLife Investment Management where she led the team to expand existing institutional client and consultant relationships and build their asset management business in the Asia ex Japan region, focusing on the insurance and institutional client segments.

Previously, she spent close to 11 years at BNP Paribas Asset Management where she held various management, senior regional business development, and client services roles.

In North Asia, Principal manages more than US$13 billion on behalf of institutional and retail clients across real estate, global equities and fixed income.
