Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) has appointed two senior portfolio managers to its global equities franchise, which recently surpassed the milestone of US$12 billion in assets under management.

June Chua joins LOIM as a portfolio manager in the Asian/Emerging Markets equities team. She brings a deep expertise in Asian markets, most recently from her role at Harvest Global, where she was head of Asian equities.

Based in Hong Kong, Chua will co-run LOIM’s Asian/EM equities franchise with Odile Lange-Broussy. Together they oversee the US$2 billion AUM platform across three core strategies: EM high conviction, Asia high conviction and China high conviction.

Chua will have specific co-lead PM responsibility for the Asia high conviction and EM high conviction strategies, which are both enjoying strong performance.

Meanwhile, Arnaud d’Aligny joins LOIM as a portfolio manager for European equities. He brings extensive experience as a sustainable equity portfolio manager, having previously served as partner and lead portfolio manager of sustainability-focused strategies investing in all-cap European equities at Sycomore Asset Management. He is based in Geneva.

At LOIM, D’Aligny will oversee the strategy for European equities. He will work closely with Johan Utterman and his team to drive forward the pan-European and Swiss equities franchises, which together constitute around US$3.7 billion in AUM.

Didier Rabattu holds overall responsibility for LOIM’s global equities business.
