Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) Singapore as part of its diversification and development strategy in Asia, has appointed Rushil Khanna head of equity investments for the region. He reports to Dora Seow, CEO for Natixis IM Singapore and is based in this city.
Khanna has over 20 years of experience in equity portfolio management that encompasses core, value, growth, and environmental, social and governance (ESG)-integrated and thematic investing. Prior to joining the company, he held various roles at Credit Suisse Asset Management, most recently as head of equities for Asia-Pacific and lead portfolio manager, based in Singapore. Before joining Credit Suisse, he was a product manager with Bank of New Zealand, based in Auckland.
Khanna will, within Natixis IM’s Common House framework, manage the equity investment expertise on behalf of Ostrum AM in Southeast/Asia-Pacific and will draw on Ostrum’s ESG knowledge to support local clients as they define their ESG strategies.
With Natixis IM Singapore carrying investment management advisory and research activities dedicated to several affiliates and the local distribution team, Khanna will support the growth of the company’s plans.
He will also be responsible for overseeing an existing team of portfolio managers, with the ambition of growing the Ostrum brand in the region; he will partner with clients to understand their needs and provide insights and tailored investment solutions.
