Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific has appointed Carolyn Cheang as regional marketing director, with effect from February 1. Overseeing the Asia-Pacific region from Singapore, she is replacing Tricia Koh, who is now commercial director for Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
Cheang joined Allianz Trade in 2018 as marketing manager primarily servicing the Asean countries which include Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.
In 2021, she was promoted to regional marketing manager and expanded her scope to cover Asia-Pacific, responsible for strategizing, executing, and managing marketing campaigns to achieve business growth and objectives.
Prior to Allianz Trade, Cheang has accumulated over 15 years of experience in the sales and marketing field. She is a bachelor of commerce degree holder from Curtin University.
