Metrobank taps Temenos for AI-powered wealth solutions
Philippine bank gains access to digital banking capabilities such as wealth analytics and robo-advisory services

Metrobank, the Philippines’ second largest universal bank, has partnered with Temenos and Collaboration Betters the World (CBTW) to provide digital wealth management services to its customers.

With the partnership, Metrobank gains access to Temenos Wealth’s digital banking capabilities, such as wealth analytics using responsible artificial intelligence, digital onboarding capabilities, and self-service functionality, including robo-advisory and goal-based planning. 

“Metrobank also benefits from Temenos’ advanced technology platform and composable API-driven architecture to easily extend and integrate the solution with existing and third-party applications, helping to reduce cost and risk while increasing business agility,” Temenos says in a media statement. 

The solution will give Metrobank’s advisers and portfolio managers a “central view” of important client information, allowing them to manage portfolios at scale. Productivity is raised by automating investments, order generation, and compliance checks.

Temenos Wealth will be implemented by CBTW, a Temenos delivery partner and a global company creating and delivering technology and business solutions. 

Ramki Ramakrishnan, Temenos’ managing director for Asia-Pacific, says with the largest global financial institutions and boutique firms among its clients, Temenos Wealth has become the “de facto software solution” for the private wealth management industry.

“With proven solutions and a robust presence in the Philippines, we are committed to support Metrobank and its future growth,” Ramakrishnan says.

Metrobank hopes Temenos Wealth will further cement the bank’s position as the preferred partner of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
