Cross-border payments provider Currencycloud and UK-based money transfer app Paysend have expanded their partnership with an eye to extending the app’s services around the world.
The deal will see the payments provider boost the app’s foreign exchange and treasury capabilities, with the Currencycloud becoming a key partner of cross-border money movement flows for Paysend across the US, Europe, the Midde East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
The deal also means that Paysend customers now have access to multicurrency wallets, which let users hold up to 34 currencies in the same app. Paysend customers will also access payments via the Swift network, adding further choice to the app’s extensive global coverage.
Currencycloud will also be supporting Paysend on the launch of new consumer-facing products and services scheduled for release in late 2024.
“We’ve worked with Currencycloud for several years now, and our partnership keeps going from strength to strength,” says Ronnie Millar, Paysend’s CEO and co-founder. “We share a vision for making the global money transfer landscape simpler and more inclusive.”
