Pictet appoints new CIO for Asia
Pictet Wealth Management has appointed David Gaud as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Asia, effective from 1 August 2017.

Pictet Wealth Management has appointed David Gaud as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Asia, effective from August 1 2017. Based in Singapore, Gaud oversees investment strategies for Asian private clients. He reports to Cesar Perez Ruiz, CIO of Pictet Wealth Management.
Gaud has over 20 years’ experience in the banking industry, mostly in Asia, including 11 years managing investment strategies. He joined Pictet from Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, where he started working in 2006, first in France and then in Hong Kong, as an Asian equities fund manager. In his latest role at Edmond de Rothschild, Gaud was Head of Emerging Equity. Previously, he worked at HSBC Bank, in Singapore and then in London, before joining Deutsche Bank’s Asia Equity Sales team in London.
