India-focused investment manager Bay Capital Partners has decided to use data and analytics provider eVestment’s Omni solution to help grow its global brand and assets under management (AUM).
With the solution, Bay Capital will be able to provide data on its institutional strategies to the eVestment database, and to numerous third-party and consultant databases around the world through the same portal. Because consultants and asset owners rely on databases to research and source asset managers, establishing a brand presence in key databases is essential to successfully raising institutional AUM.
Managers do this by providing performance data and portfolio characteristics, narratives about their firms and strategies, biographical details on their investment professionals, and information about how they approach environment, social and governance (ESG) issues, etc.
