Sichuan Communications Inv among seven prequalified companies for motorway concession in Greece

Sichuan Communications Investment Group is on the shortlist for the Egnatia Odos motorway concession in Greece. The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund has prequalified seven bidders. On 16 May Greece's privatisation fund, the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund, declared the pre-qualified investment schemes for the tenders of both the Egnatia Odos motorways and the Alimos marina.

A statement from HRADF said that its board of directors had decided that seven investment schemes are prequalified to participate in phase B of the tender for the Egnatia Odos motorway. They are: Anas International Enterprise SpA; Diolkos SA; Gek Terna SA - Egis Projects SA; Freyja Holdings Sarl (Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 5 LP / Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 5 SCSp); Roadis Transportation Holding Slu/Aktor Concessions SA; Sichuan Communications Investment Group Co - Damco Energy SA; Vinci Highways SAS - Vinci Concessions SAS / Mytilineos Holdings SA. Sichuan Communications Investment Group's consortium partner Damco Energy is a subsidiary of Copelouzos Group. Copelouzos has close links to China via its collaboration on green energy projects with Shenhua Group Corp.
