Jeremy Porter has over 30 years of experience across various risk, finance, actuarial roles
The Asset 9 Jan 2023

Hong Kong-based life insurance company FWD Group has appointed Jeremy Porter as its group chief risk officer, a role in which he will lead the company’s risk and compliance functions and report to Huynh Thanh Phong, group CEO and executive director.

Porter succeeds Niall Grady who had been serving as interim group chief risk officer as well as group chief compliance officer since April 2022. Grady will remain in his role of group chief compliance officer and will report to Porter.

An actuary with over 30 years of experience across various risk, finance and actuarial roles, Porter comes to FWD from AXA where he was chief risk officer, Hong Kong and Macau.

Huynh says: “Porter brings meaningful and deep risk management experience to the company at this important juncture in the group’s growth and evolution as we continue to play a role in addressing Asia’s significantly underserved life insurance market.”
