EMURGO, Huawei to expand Cardano network
Collaboration aims to enhance interoperability, scale Web3 solutions in Asia-Pacific
The Asset 11 Apr 2024

Blockchain firm EMURGO, a founding entity of Cardano blockchain, and cloud computing firm Huawei Cloud will partner to establish a Cardano validator node on Huawei Cloud, bringing its cloud infrastructure into Cardano’s open-source public blockchain ecosystem, ultimately, driving growth and Web3 adoption in Asia-Pacific and Africa.

This collaboration will further enhance the scalability and interoperability of Cardano’s cloud services. Additionally, Cardano will gain access to Huawei’s Marketplace, a platform used by many leading enterprises, expanding the reach of its Web3 capabilities.

“This partnership represents our shared vision to accelerate Web3 adoption while enabling transparency and trust in the cloud ecosystem,” says Ken Kodama, the blockchain company’s CEO. “We look forward to working with Huawei Cloud to drive mutual growth in Asia Pacific.”

Rex Lei Yang, the cloud computing firm’s managing director, adds: “This partnership will serve as a springboard for our Web3 services and will go a long way to future-proof our business in the long run.”
