Vistra secures Irish fund administration licence
Ireland acts as gateway between clients in the US, UK, Europe and increasingly Asia
The Asset 8 May 2024

UK-headquartered global business services provider Vistra has secured authorization from the Central Bank of Ireland to provide fund administration services in Ireland, extending its global footprint delivering such services.

The fund management team is supported, the company says, “by cutting-edge accounting software and its own investor servicing portal, VFunds, a fully integrated digital platform enabling investment managers, investors and other related parties to receive the information they need in a fast, transparent and efficient way”.

To support the expansion of the company’s global fund administration network to the country, Vistra Funds Services (Ireland) has appointed Aimee Gill as its CEO and head of fund accounting, Paul McDonald as its head of investor services, and Jacqueline Evbodaghe as its head of risk and compliance.

“Ireland is an integral hub for the investment funds industry and an important gateway between our clients in the US, UK and Europe, as well as a jurisdiction increasingly on the radar of those based in Asia,” notes Cliona O'Faolain, managing director of Vistra Ireland. “The licence enables us to better serve our clients across the company globally, strengthening our foothold within Europe and opening the Irish market so that we can contribute to the growth ambitions of new and existing fund clients.”
