Vistra appoints regional compliance director for North Asia
Anita Yu will oversee the implementation of Vistra’s compliance strategy in the region, covering markets including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan

Vistra, a global trust, fund administration and corporate services provider, has appointed Anita Yu as regional compliance director – North Asia effective immediately.

Yu will be responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of Vistra’s compliance strategy in the region, covering markets including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Based in Hong Kong, she will report directly to Chief Compliance Officer Tanya Scott-Tomlin.

Yu is a compliance professional with 20 years of experience in compliance, business development and client services. She joins Vistra from a global investment management firm with key operations in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Paris and Dublin. Prior to that she served as a director and Hong Kong head of compliance for a global asset manager and was responsible for ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Scott-Tomlin says, “Anita’s appointment demonstrates Vistra’s ongoing commitment to strengthening our compliance capabilities and oversight to support the organization’s ongoing expansion in North Asia.”

Yu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from a Hong Kong university and is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
